The Study Orientation and Campus Introduction Program (PROSPEK) is the first step for new students to enter the campus environment. This activity also collaborates with orientation and introduction methods with various activities, one of which is the presentation of material by great people, group discussions, raising health issues and activities focused on mentoring. Thus, students can adapt quickly, knowing the campus environment, curriculum system, types of academic activities, learning methods, university and faculty leaders, and other academics. Not only introducing, but also providing a foundation for mindset and character building, one of which is by instilling a fighting spirit that will not be extinguished, applying SHARE values in the form of someah, akhlakul karimah, handap asor, asah asih asuh, motekar and the value of excellence of the Faculty of Medicine, University Pasundan.
In order to welcome the activities of the Study Orientation and Campus Introduction Program (PROSPEK), the Student Family Association of the Faculty of Medicine, Pasundan University organized a social project for new students and the committee to become volunteers and invites the public to take part in blood donation with the theme “KENAL THALASEMIA”. This action is a form of concern for medical students as agents of change to help Thalassemia survivors who need help in the form of blood transfusions. Therefore, with this blood donation action, it is hoped that it can foster a sense of humanity for Pasundan University medical students. This blood donation action has been successfully held by the Pasundan University Medical Faculty Student Family Association simultaneously on September 4, 2021, at the Bandung City PMI Blood Donor Unit and other PMI cities spread throughout Indonesia according to the student’s domicile.
