The Covid-19 pandemic has had a negative impact on almost all sectors ranging from health, education to the economy and in January the government will implement a Covid-19 vaccination program which is expected to be an answer to minimize the bad effects resulting from the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Student Family Association of the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Pasundan through the Social Welfare Department, on Saturday 2 January 2021 held a Vaccination webinar Making All Contributes to Action (VASOCONSTRICTION) which aims to provide education and increase insight about the vaccination program which is planned to start this January.
Prof. Dr. Dedi Rachmadi, dr., SpA (K)., MKes as the dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Pasundan, said that after vaccination, health protocols must be maintained with discipline. He also conveyed the steps that must be taken if activities, especially activities in the field of education, can be carried out face-to-face, including recommendations and coordination, curricular, health protocol and hybrid learning.
Dr.drg. Marion Siagian, M.Epid, Head of P2P Division and Chair of the West Java Covid-19 Task Force Health Management Division as a resource person for this activity stated that the provision of Covid-19 immunization, accompanied by the implementation of strict health protocols, is an acceleration effort in the framework of pandemic control and also giving immunization with high and even coverage will form group immunity in the community so that it can break the chain of transmission of the Covid-19 disease.
Basra Ahmad Amru, S.Ked, the Public Communication Team of the Covid-19 Handling Committee and National Economic Recovery also conveyed some information starting from statistics on the increase in the number of confirmed Covid-19 patients and he delivered a vaccination guidebook that had been compiled and had been translated into 77 languages regions in Indonesia so it is hoped that this vaccination guidebook can be read and understood by the wider community.
