The Paguyuban Pasundan Executive Board in collaboration with the Bandung City Health Office held a Covid 19 vaccination for the elderly in the PB Paguyuban Pasundan environment on Saturday (6/3/2021), at the Paguyuban Pasundan Building on Sumatra Street No. 41, Bandung City.
Also vaccinated today, Chairman of PB Paguyuban Pasundan Prof. Dr. H. M. Didi Turmudzi M.Si,. Secretary General PB Paguyuban Pasundan Dr. H. Dedi Hadian M.M., Chairman of STKIP Pasundan Cimahi Dr. Dedi Supriadi, M.Pd. and other leaders and administrators of PB Paguyuban Pasundan.
The event, which is fully supported by the Faculty of Medicine, Pasundan University, also vaccinated 50 elderly people.
Chairman of PB Paguyuban Pasundan Prof.Dr.H.M.Didi Turmudzi M.Si ,. said he was happy the vaccination was going well. Prof. Didi also added that he did not feel any effects or symptoms after being vaccinated.
“It feels normal, there are no symptoms whatsoever, services from registration to injection and others are running smoothly and well,” explained Prof. Didi.
Prof. Didi also expressed his gratitude to the Bandung City Government through the Bandung City Health Office for holding Covid 19 vaccinations for the elderly at Paguyuban Pasundan.
“Today the covid 19 vaccine injection for the elderly and I am one of the oldest among the young who is 72 years old,” he said.
Prof. Didi hopes that the community will flock to be ready to be vaccinated against Covid 19 because this vaccine is a necessity and for the survival of future children and grandchildren.
“Being injected is okay, just enjoy it like when we were injected at the hospital or in other places,” added Prof. Didi.
In the future, Paguyuban Pasundan will also coordinate the elderly, both veterans, retired TNI and others to be vaccinated against Covid 19 at Paguyuban Pasundan.
Meanwhile the Head of the Bandung City Health Office, Ahyani Raksanagara said that the Covid 19 vaccination is a national program so that the stages, targeting is carried out by the central government, according to the availability of vaccines.
“We are currently entering the second stage, and will be completed in four stages. Where the second stage is for the elderly and public servants as well as some health human resources, because there is an expansion in stage one for the criteria for health workers, “explained Ahyani.
Ahyani added that the City of Bandung is targeting 118 thousand elderly people who are vaccinated against Covid 19, meanwhile, for public servants, her party has only received 9900 people as vaccine targets, or less than 10 percent of the data sent.
“This vaccination will be given in stages according to the availability of vaccines, we will arrange everything. We also express our gratitude for the collaboration with Paguyuban Pasundan because if people organize and have their own health team, the vaccination process will be faster, “he explained.
Ahyani also said that this vaccine not only protects ourselves but also our families and society.
“With successful vaccination, it is hoped that we will return to normal activities, vaccination is not only for ourselves but also for families and the nation,” concluded Ahyani. (tiwi)
